I agree with you 100%. Kelly sporting events have terrible turn outs with the exception of girls basketball. Last year I would say that the visiting teams brought in more fans at football games. I can remember when Saunders had the footbal program turned around and Principal Shull put more of an emphasis on athletics the seats were close to full. It's tough on B.I. to get the athletes onto the field without support from the community, but his team is going to have to win a few games before the crowds start showing up again.
The test is simple, if "your" team wins a national championship, do you get a championship ring? If the answer is yes, then you can say "we." If not, you can't.

Clintwoods fans are just about as bad as Kellys. Ive never seen a more dedicated and rowdy fan base as Councils though. By far the best fans in the Region in my opinion. Gate City isnt far behind them either.

Clintwood has a few fans that are really dedicated but most of the students that do come just set around talk. The crowd affects how you play and i believe if we had a loud crowd behind us then it could change the outcome of some games.

Twin Springs does has school spirit when it comes to basketball I don't know about anyother sports though..
Appalachia has lots of it as well..
